CANCELLED: SRPCG Summer Garden BBQ
Dear Gardeners and Waiting List members: Rain is good for the garden, but not so much for this evening's scheduled monthly garden BBQ.
The hourly forecast shows it MAY clear up by 7pm tonight, but I don't think it's going to be a good evening for a BBQ at the garden in any event-soggy benches just aren't that much fun to sit on. Let's enjoy the fact that Mother Nature is watering our gardens for us this evening and hope for better weather August 22 for our next Garden BBQ.

Work Day Thank You
Dear Gardeners,
Thank you to everyone who attended Sunday's work day.
General sweeping, especially around the cistern, is still needed. Also, there may be weeds in some areas of the pathways surrounding plots, although I believe we were able to clear most pathways.
If you couldn't attend, feel free to help maintain the Garden in its current state by weeding along the entry pathways when necessary and keeping the ivy trimmed back to the edge of the concrete borders. The area directly outside of the Garden gates frequently also requires sweeping.
